What services does Atlantic Pacific Lines offer? +
Atlantic Pacific Lines provides full-spectrum international freight forwarding including FCL and LCL ocean freight, air freight forwarding, port drayage, over-the-road trucking, transloading and warehousing, U.S. customs clearance, project cargo logistics, refrigerated cargo shipping, hazardous materials forwarding, and cargo insurance. As an FMC-licensed NVOCC since 1995 and IATA-certified forwarder, APL manages every mode and every compliance requirement under one account.
How can I get a shipping quote? +
Shippers can request a quote directly through atlanticpacificlines.com/contact or access real-time freight rates through APL's AI-powered rate management platform. Provide origin, destination, commodity, weight or volume, and preferred mode. Atlantic Pacific Lines responds with ocean FCL, LCL, and air rate options within 24 hours for standard freight and within 2 hours for urgent air freight requests.
Do you handle customs clearance and compliance? +
Yes. Atlantic Pacific Lines is a C-TPAT certified, ITAR-registered, and DFARS-compliant customs broker providing full U.S. import and export compliance. Services include ISF 10+2 filing at 48-hour lead time, HTS 10-digit classification review on every entry, CBP examination coordination, First Sale valuation advisory, and duty drawback identification for qualifying import programs.
What is the difference between FCL and LCL shipping? +
FCL means your cargo occupies a dedicated container from origin to destination without co-loading with other shippers. It is faster, more secure, and cost-effective for shipments above approximately 15 CBM. LCL consolidates your cargo with other shippers in a shared container and is appropriate for smaller volumes. Atlantic Pacific Lines handles both under its FMC NVOCC license, issuing individual House Bills of Lading for each LCL consignment.
How can I track my shipment in real time? +
Atlantic Pacific Lines provides event-level shipment tracking from booking confirmation through final delivery. Ocean containers are tracked by House Bill of Lading number with milestone notifications at vessel departure, arrival, customs clearance, and delivery. Air shipments are tracked against AWB milestones, including departure, transshipment, and customs release. Real-time rate and tracking access are available through the APL rate management platform for all our clients.
